A little off topic: Make your own Album!

Ran into this on another blog, thought it would be fun to share it here.

1 – Grab a random article from Wikipedia.
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first  article you get is the name of your band.

2 – Go to “Random quotations”
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last 4-6 words of the last quotation on the page is your album title.

3 – Head to the last 7 days’ top photos on Flickr
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4- You can use an online photo-text app (like Picfont) to quickly put all of those together.

5- Upload your new album cover onto imgur (http://imgur.com/) and post it in the comments here and I’ll re-upload them into this post with your names and comments.

Lets see what kind of craziness we can come up with!

Will start with me:

White man

Ahem I know what you're thinking... you pervert. I think the PC terminology here is "Caucasian Male" ;P

Chiara's cover. Text says "Tonkawa Massacre" "Either a liberal or a conservative". Friendly fire ;P

From Mina. Don't worry, I can't make much sense of this either... though I am seriously wondering what kind of quote references Bozo the Clown ;P

Susanne's contribution. Never knew Kim Jong-Il was a proponent of dendrophilia ;P ... Though that *is* a nice tree.. just sayin'

From Bilal. Sounds like a zombie invasion in Bengal. :O

Arslan

Arslan's contribution. Maybe its because its Ramadan, but this makes me hungry : P

Seems the text didn’t copy. It says:

    Korean Sociological Association
It’s much sexier than any body part.
    :D

    No problem! Fixed and added!

You’re fantastic! Thanks! Now I am laughing so hard! For what it’s worth, the sexier quote had to do with women’s confidence. :)

Thanks for adding my album and your caption! Love it!

Hahahahahaha! OK, your album title made me laugh! Seriously?? Don't some men think they are God's gift to the world? Enough already! :-D

    Very cute!

But apparently White Men just do it better ;P

LOL :) Yeah, I’m seriously pro-life all right, as long as a pro-choice decision was made first!
During one of my med school interviews the panel deliberately set me up by asking me to defend a pro-life position, just to see what I would do. I blithered for a while, and then said, “I’m sorry I can’t do this, it is too far off what I think.” They all smiled and said “We thought as much, go ahead and do it the way you normally would.” At the end of which (and after I very carefully took the 15 yo father’s perspective and his family’s perspective into discussion with the imaginary 14 yo mother’s decision-making about choices) they said, “Fine, but the term is pro-choice” (let’s just say my English language skills were rusty from life in the French lane! LOL :)

I like my caption: “Friendly fire ;) ” but I defer to your judgment! :P :)
    LOL :P :)

Ah, cute. I remember him when he was a little guy in an ophthamology clinic! :) :D

Hi Chiara! Sorry, I didn’t realize “Friendly Fire” was your caption. Changes made!

That would’ve been a really tough spot to be in… and I really respect you for being able to handle it. Personally, I don’t know how I’d react to a situation like this. I tend to have a mental battle with myself (right brain vs left if you may, but more likely its a group of neurons against the other… interesting :P ) every time the topic comes up.

No worries, I was happy with your caption too.

One of my patient’s who had been adopted through the Catholic Children’s Aid had one of the best short answers I have ever heard “I couldn’t have an abortion myself, because of my history, but I think other women should have the option”.

Men are in a more challenging position of trying to support women’s choices, or at least recognizing they aren’t the pregnant one, and having their own beliefs and preferences, which may vary depending on the circumstances of the pregnancy (as they do for women). Which reminds me of a married man I saw… Hmmm better do a post! LOL :) I’m thinking “family planning” is a post-Ramadan rather than and intra-Ramadan topic! :D

Thanks for contributing Arslan! And thank you for stopping by!

Anytime. I didn’t know you had a blog until like yesterday; I have quite a few friends who know you – guess the world’s smaller than you think it is. But, great work, I must say. I take photos as well, but not as good as yours. Stop by my flickr page whenever you can; a few pointers here and there would be great!

Oh, and thanks for posting the photo up!
