LOL, you've completely turned me off DSLRs. Perhaps, I'll just wait for the best point-and-shoot-all-the-crap-crammed-into-1-slim-sleek model. InshaAllah. In the mean time, I'll keep pushing my point and shoot to it's maximum capability and keep comparing my pics to ones taken by pros & feeling pity for my pics. lol.

I agree with Chiara on the devolution and Mr. Muscle pic. Eww for the latter.

I've been wanting to get into photography since I was in the 8th grade, but do to finances and it was not digital then (digital was not even known by the inverters I assume). But I finally did, and I can say I am happy learning all that can be learned and reading all that can be read about it… it is a money drain, and not a cheap hobby, but a wonderful one that made me see the world in a different light.

This is a great explanation for non-techies/technophobes/women who didn't inherit the paternal grandfather's techie gene which went to their sister!

I like the art for those who cannot draw type inspiration for photography–this has been one of my solutions to not inheriting the maternal uncle's genius for representative drawing gene–it is still up for grabs as far as I can tell.

I really like your devoluting photographer pick, but really wish I hadn't clicked on Mr Muscle–wrong aesthetic for me, and then I start thinking of the unhealthy way men get to look like that. Eww must go look at some other finer specimens of the less fair sex.
