And I’m on Tour Again

As I sit here in the lobby of the Sheraton in Riyad, I thought I’d give you guys an update of whats going on. Some of you might have heard about the new LOL Comedy Tour taking place in Saudi Arabia. Well I’m the official photographer for it again.

This means I’ll be touring with Angelo Tsarouchas, Dean Edwards and Sebastian Maniscalco as they perform their stand up comedy routines in Riyadh on the 18th and 19th of November and in Jeddah on the 20th. If you’ve been reading my blog long enough, you might remember that this is not the first time I’ve worked with Angelo Tsarouchas. We met in Egypt earlier this year during the ‘Egypt’s first Comedy Rumble’ tour. Angelo is terribly jet lagged (all the comedians are!) so I haven’t gotten the chance to meet him yet, but it will be great to see the big guy again.

The show is organized by Smile Productions, the same great people that brought you the original LOL Tour a few months ago. I do beleive its not too late to register for tickets for tomorrows show in Riyadh and the day after in Jeddah if you’re so inclined to. I will say this however, that from the looks of things, Peter has gone all out to make this show the best ever. The comedians work really well together (you have a OCD clean freak and a down and dirty guy paired up), and the lighting and sound work at the venues looks positively amazing.

Anyhow, I’ll be getting my equipment ready now. I’ll be updating regularly on my twitter ( @NidalM ) about the progress of the LOL Tour. So do follow me. Send me a tweet every now and then too (life behind a camera can get lonely *sniff*). And if you’re in Riyadh or Jeddah, do check out the show.

I’ll be in the Sheraton for the next two days in Riyadh, if anyone wants to grab a bite. Lunch?

Ooh, also, they have a pool here. :D

Laps laps laps laps.

Lunch and laps sound good! Hmmm, a little far though, and I prefer Jeddah (I think!) Have fun, and I'm looking forward to the full photo reportage.
