Peter of Smile Productions gave me a call literally minutes after I’d walked into my house, returning from a 2-week long vacation/photoshoot in Pakistan. There was a comedy show in Riyadh in a day and he needed me in Riyadh. Weary from all the traveling, I almost said no. I’m glad I didn’t.

Many of you know that this October, Rehman Akhtar, our local celebrity comedian will be hosting another Comedy Show in Aramco. The show, taking place in the Dhahran Theater, features some of the top comedy talent in Saudi Arabia. You don’t want to miss it!

For the 2 of you that haven’t heard, Ahmed Ahmed and Maz Jobrani were in Saudi Arabia this week for a comedy tour in Riyadh and Jeddah. I was called up to tour with them and cover the stage performances and backstage antics. This was the first time an event of this scale has been performed in Saudi Arabia. History was made.
