The Mara (continued)

Given the fact that we spent two days in the most densely packed animal reserve on the planet, 1 post (or even 2) can no way convey all the amazing things we saw. It’s one thing to see a lion sitting across from you, but a completely different experience to hear it roar, get up, stretch, and come sit down next to your safari car.

The Mara

The Masai Mara is known as the most densely populated animal reserve on the planet. A fragile ecosystem being run by extremely powerful natural forces, the Mara always leaves its visitors awestruck with how untouched it is.

The Birds of Lake Navisha

Just 2 hours north of Nairobi, Lake Navisha, one of Kenya’s largest freshwater lakes, is a haven for a wide variety of birds. From plain old ducks to more exotic eagles and pelicans, Navisha offers some of the most breathtaking ornithological sights in Africa! Also, not devoid of pop culture, this is where the 1985 film “Out of Africa”, starring Robert Redford was shot and also bears close proximity to Hell’s Gate, the stage for Disney’s Lion King!

Hakuna Matata!

So umm yeah.. I went to Kenya…. ;P Travel itinerary (along with maps!) included inside. More posts and pics forthcoming!.
